Once again I have a lot to write about. I'm not very good at keeping the blog updated!
This time I will go backwards. Today is Mia's 8th Birthday!! We are happy to have her with us this year. At this time last year, we were just a month away from traveling to meet her in Ambato, Ecuador.
She chose to have My Little Pony decorations and I made some poofs from tissue paper to go along. Lizzie and I decorated last night. She chose pizza for dinner and Jello cake with ice cream for dessert. I hope to have a fun day today and not set my expectations too high. More pictures later.

July 21st was Ben's 10th Birthday!! He chose to have a party with decorations from his past birthdays. So there was a mixture of Star Wars, Transformers, Superman, Batman. He got some awesome Lego sets, of course, and had brownie sundaes for dessert! We ate a Olive Garden too.

Over the 4th of July we went to Michigan to visit both sides of our family! Mia had her first 4th and we went to the annual party at my brother's house. We played lots of badminton and minigolf with Tim's parents! When were in Michigan we also went on our first camping trip with one of my brothers and his family. We had lots of fun!!

Also in Michigan we got to go on rides on my dad's new motorcycle. The kids rode in their yard, but I got to hit the roads. It was super fun!!!

June 21st was Josh's 8th Birthday!! He chose to have a Pokemon theme party. That is one of his latest things he is interested in, along with Skylanders and Beyblade. Josh wanted cookie cake and ice cream for dessert. We ate lunch at Red Robin.
Now we are gearing up for school. Lizzie will start Middle School this year. We still have a few things we need to get for her supplies. Next week we have Meet the Teacher for elementary kids on Monday and will go walk through Lizzie's schedule at the middle school on Tuesday. I look forward to a good year.
Speaking of Lizzie she has been very busy this summer! She went to a church camp for the first time and to the beach with a friend, also for the first time. She has had fun, but I feel like I haven't seen her much. People say to get used to it and that's how it will be. We'll see.
Lizzie also got her hair cut yesterday! She hasn't had more than a trim in Years, so it was a big deal! She looks great and here is her before and after picture.
Tim took Ben, Josh and Mia to Fan days at Panther's Stadium. It was hot, but they had fun!!
